Foods That Will Sabotage Your Fat loss

fat-loss-preventing-foodsWhile in theory fat loss is all about the amount of calories you eat, I believe that because of other metabolic factors some calories are better than others in the fat loss process.

There has been a lot of research and other theories developed that challenge the whole calorie notion over the last 10 years and these new ideas have shown promise when it comes to helping people who struggle to shed fat.

It basically boils down to your body’s response to certain types of calories. This response can be positive or negative. I know personally, I’ve always been in pretty good shape, but it wasn’t until I greatly reduced certain foods that I began to see the results I was looking for. This isn’t as easy as it may seem because the majority of the food available to us and being marketed, actually contains ingredients that can sabotage your fat loss efforts.

5 Food Types to Avoid

  1. Refined Sugars- These are in so many processed foods and the world is becoming increasingly addicted to sweets. If you want to see fast results, cut these out of your diet. I still allow myself the occasional sweet treat, but the majority of my days are spent sugar free.
  2. Refined carbs- These simple carbs quickly are converted to sugar by your body and in fact, your saliva begins this process while you’re chewing. Get rid of the white pasta, white bread, and regular white rice to see the best results.
  3. It is the main factor to help you stay fit in more buy viagra pamelaannschoolofdance.com ways than you can even imagine. To be viagra online honest, there is an assumption that the search will become more close to what Bing is offering. Acupuncture treatment takes a holistic approach to health care and nutrition supplements has cheap tadalafil 20mg found many medicinal uses. Improved blood flow gives more strength orden 50mg viagra to your junior and it plays better during the love-game.

  4. Bad fats- My rule of thumb is to only eat natural fats. These are fats that can be cold pressed from vegetables or obtained from eating whole foods such as salmon. Olive oil, coconut oil, and avocado oil are all great choices and real butter is better than any processed spread. Processed foods almost always have high omega 6 fats in them which can sabotage your fat loss efforts by causing inflammation.
  5. Processed foods- Any food that can’t be made naturally or that doesn’t exist in nature is usually a bad idea. Processed foods are full of chemicals and sodium and they should be greatly limited if you’re trying to shed fat. Try to break free from the quick, convenient, preprepared way of eating. Eating whole foods can still be quick with a little education.
  6. Artificial sugars- These chemicals really don’t have any benefit in your diet. They’ve been known to cause health problems and recent research shows that people who consume diet soda actually on average have bigger waist sizes than people who don’t. If you have to have something sweet, have a real sugar treat once a week or use Stevia.

Whole Natural Foods Are Key

The more whole, natural foods you eat the better. I encourage people to gradually adjust the way they eat instead of just quitting everything cold turkey. Each week pick a few foods to eliminate or a few healthy foods to incorporate. It’s amazing how different food tastes after they aren’t so sweet and salty. You will taste flavors you never new where there and your body fat percentage will be declining in the process.

This is a simple enough list.

I’ve adopted the following food mantra and it has been working for me: “No meat, no wheat and no soy … cause I’m a boy.”

Recent reading convinced me that the phytoestrogens in soy wreak havoc on testosterone and, since testosterone gradually lowers as a man ages anyway, I didn’t need an extra shove from soy — low testosterone kills the libido and I’m not ready to retire that part of my life just yet!

The normal range for testosterone is from 300 – 10,000 and a recent blood test showed me at 240. A couple weeks ago I removed soy from my diet and added a nutritional supplement that claims to build testosterone to a healthy level. I’m starting to see a small, but positive, difference in my attitude toward sex.
