Daniel's Window

I had a very exciting day today. My action list is jam-packed and I'm confident that I'll be up a late this evening making sure I achieve all of the goals that I set. That's fine, plenty of great momentum.

It did not snow last night as promised, however, it did flurry a bit this morning. Temperature is just above freezing so some of the snow is slowly melting. I'm hoping it is staying nice and cool on the slopes, and can't wait to get back.

I woke up this morning sore and stiff, so I jangled to loosen up but opted to wait until after I had breakfast to workout. I waited about 2 hours after I ate, then did a combination of 170 Hindu squats, 21 Hindu push-ups, and held my bridge for 40 seconds. So far, plenty of progress. I found the squats are more bearable if I do 40 on my toes, 20 flat foot, and then reverse it. On my toes, my knees start to ache, and flat foot my quads start to burn, so the combination keeps me going to the higher reps.

I'm due to meditate a bit and take the dogs for a walk. I am going with my daughter to her gymnastics class in Spearfish (I may do some writing while we're there on the old laptop) and then we'll go to a restaurant there for a nice Italian dinner - not sure what I'll have, whether a steak or a salad (not big on pasta - actually, I am, but I also know where it goes anytime I have it). A glass of red wine will definitely compliment the meal.

This morning, I started making arrangements for an exciting campaign in 2005. A band called Daniel's Window is doing a Christian Music Makeover this year, and they elected me to be their strength coach and, for some of the band members, nutrition coach. I really look forward to it - it will be fun and exciting. I also had a phenomenal conversation with a group who works with one of the home shopping networks (not "the" Home Shopping Network) and are looking at some of my products as a consideration ... no guarantees yet, but an exciting development. I look forward to the opportunity to get on television and share my message visually as I do over the phone and on my CDs currently.

I've got quite a few tasks to finish this week - it has been busy, but busy in this enterprise is fulfilling because it's not "busy work" but rather energy and creativity.

Yesterday, I achieved all of my checklist goals with the exception of "focus on team." Unfortunately, I did not connect with some team members as I had hoped. That's okay, we move forward. Today I've already connected with two. One I helped with a campaign in his city, and we already have people calling to express interest with going into business with him. I just spoke with that person and connected the two earlier. I am excited about that member of my team growing his own organization. The other is a new member who just joined recently. We are doing an hour of one-on-one training this evening to help him launch his business. It is always exciting to see the potential people have to transform their lives, provided they have the faith and fortitude to go forward with it. What many people don't realize about free enterprise is that the only way to fail is to give up and accept defeat.

I had a high energy interview last night - it is up on the site at Become-Your-Best.com - I interviewed Rasheed Ali who is a true testament to the power of spirit and conviction in creating success.

I also wrote a letter to Lee Hayward and asked to see if he would contribute his energy to our call.

Okay, time to relax, take the dogs on a walk, head out to gymnastics class, then jump back into producing and create another successful day in 2005.

Thanks - I appreciate you.
