Did I skip an update?

Dare I say, had such a wonderful day, didn't cross my mind to post (not that posting isn't part of a wonderful day).

We drove down early to Rapid City to be welcomed as new members to our new church. We arrived a bit late, but in time to introduce ourselves to the other new members. We were asked to put our names in the basket for a drawing. The hostess shuffled the basket, and a small child drew out the slip. The prize? A cookbook, contributed to by all of the church members (it is a BIG cookbook). The name? My wife's, of course! So that was cool.

Of course, when the second drawing came around, it was to be a bag of coffee beans. We had roasted some fresh hazelnuts (filberts) the evening before to grind with coffee at my grandparents. So it only made sense that we also won the bag of hazelnut coffee (my name). We also were given two coffee mugs. Is this a sign from above that it's okay to drink coffee? I've had my cups again, but I am keeping to my self-promise - just one cup per day, and not to wake up or for breakfast. I have them over lunch.

Our daughter went to Sunday school and enjoyed it. We attended service, then went to breakfast. I had an awesome salad with some cottage cheese. We then went to my grandparents and visited - it was nice. We took a scenic drive home, then relaxed.

Today was my daughter's first day of "school" (actually a homeschool program, much like Montisserie (sp?)) ... wow, she had a blast. I went down for lunch to check on her, she just smiled, said her day was great, and that I could be on my way. Imagine that!

I resumed my workouts and did 250 Hindu squats, 25 Hindu push-ups, and a 100 second bridge hold. Dinner was awesome - a buffalo roast barbeque with green beans that I drizzled the healthy fat blend the company that I partner with provides (it has olive in it, and is GREAT for seasoning vegetables - just add AFTER cooking because the healthy fats are heat-sensitive).

I hosted an interview with an amazing woman, author of Stella's Kitchen whose journey had a lot in common with my own. The audio is already posted at our Become Your Best Coaching site (pardon the hum).

I'm going into a business-related call. I have quite a few business decisions to make this week, all of them exciting and with the potential for growth throughout 2005.

I appreciate you and thank you for your valuable time spent here. I'll keep you posted.

Blessed be,

Jeremy Likness
