Okay,
I had a lot to say, but then the post decided to be stubborn and not go through.
Imagine that.
So, in retrospect - good workout today.
My breakfast was delicious ... apples, blackberries, and dates. I discovered dates over the weekend. I love them! Great substitute for other junk when I have a craving for something sweet.
I had white chili for lunch. My wife makes this and its awesome - incredibly healthy, too. Made with chickpeas (garbanzo beans) and chicken breast. YUM!
I took the dogs on a walk today, they were very happy. After several days of below-zero weather, we had it in the 50s today. Go figure! So everything was SLUSH. Squish, squash, squish.
My daughter was a bit sad because I was so busy that I did not sit down with her to "add words to her diary" as she says. We'll catch up tomorrow, though, I enjoy listening to her share what she is writing and helping her spell the few words she hasn't figured out yet. Did I mention she types those updates herself? Even scans in her own pictures - all I do is resize them and upload them to the server, and put the code to embed the images. Teamwork!
I love running an international business. I had someone inquire about the incredible multivitamin that I supply through the company that I partner with, who lives in Japan. So when we went to sign them up, we realized that there is no online enrollment in that country! I called over to our office there and spoke with "Sato" (not sure if I spelled it right) and was informed they only do it based on walk-ins, calls, or mailed in forms. Learn something new every day! I can't wait to travel there.
I am taking a major step with my business that I hadn't contemplated in the past. I always wanted to do my OWN coaching because I know what I know and the results I can achieve. In the past months, however, I have been fortunate to connect with some incredible trainers and coaches. So, I am going to expand my coaching and bring on board some independent contractors! It is a big step but in the end I feel it is a great move. We can take on more customers and still give them the one-on-one attention they deserve. Trust me, I won't affiliate with a coach unless I believe they are BETTER than I am ... seriously! These guys have years of experience and great testimonials from their clients, so I'm happy to bring them on board. I'm working out the details with one right now ... we will bring him on a call to introduce him and then start connecting with customers!
Speaking of which, I have procrastinated on scheduling the free assessments for the week. I love the assessments; I hate scheduling things on my calendar. My first employee this year will be a part-time appointment keeper (okay, so they'll do some other cool things, too, like researching other web sites, approaching people with affiliate opportunities, examining opportunities for partnerships, etc). Know anyone interested in that type of work? In the meantime, I'm going to schedule - so those of you waiting, be patient, you'll get your e-mails shortly!
Blessed be,
