Today, all cylinders are firing at once!
My wife fell asleep with my daughter last night while tucking her in, so I woke up alone except for our now-not-so-little puppy cuddled next to me.
I went down to wake up the girls because my daughter goes to a short day of preschool today.
I was very excited because this morning, my wife and I planned a date! We went upstairs and jangled together, then while she took her shower, I did 180 Hindu squats, 22 Hindu push-ups, and held a bridge for 45 seconds. WOO! What a workout. Had a little snack of string cheese and some juice to take my vitamins, showered, and saw my princess off to school.
My wife and I then went to Deadwood and had a nice, quiet breakfast together. I had steak and eggs, substituted a bagel for the hashed browns and toast. Had my final cup of coffee for the day - I've been holding true to my commitment to cut back, and if I feel an urge, I will have tea instead.
I did have some coffee with last night's dinner, at a restaurant where they have GREAT coffee. I had some beef vegetable soup, a bleu filet (a filet with gorgonzola cheese on it) with garlic mashed potatoes (ate half of the serving) and corn relish (ate about half of that) then split a cheesecake with my wife and daughter. It was a lovely meal! (Had some merlot with the meal).
Last night, I had a great training session with my new team member and then connected with another business partner out of St. Louis. Then it was off to sleep.
I've already exercised this morning, had some quiet time with my wife and look forward to spending about 15 minutes reading some more of "Think and Grow Rich." I have a business presentation at 10:00am and then about 14 tasks on my to-do list today. Wednesdays are always fun because we have an international team call hosted by our coach and mentor, Ian King, out of Australia, and there is a lot of powerful energy on that call of like-minded entrepeneurs.
For the band members that I am creating a program for, they are on the road quite a bit, so I am going to be making a guide for fast food restaurants. I asked which ones they frequent and received a list of I believe every fast food restauarant in existence (LOL) so then I realized that I can put together the guide for them, polish it and add some tips and techniques, and publish it as a book - Fast Food Fitness. I have a goal to create one book in print this month, so this seems like a likely candidate. Now I only need to check with legal to make sure I can use the business names in a publication like this.
I have a huge, thick stack of edited papers to update my Lose Fat, Not Faith book, so I'll be creating daily time to work on a bit of that and will release an update in several weeks. That timeline may also be pushed forward - I was in talks with a company that is considering a mass-distribution of the book, but it will be in print format, so I will need to have it professionally edited from front cover to back cover and then get a prototype out. We'll see how that develops - I've always had a vision of moving this e-Book to print, but anticipated it being further out in the year. However, when opportunities arise, it's a great time to take action and pour energy into them!
I have a few other ideas, I do not suffer from lack of ideas ... it is simply a question of prioritizing and not losing them but placing them in the queue based on their importance. I want to create some daily courses, for example, that teach topics like designing workout programs, educate consumers about vitamins (that is one I am very passionate about - each day it would deliver information about a new topic, for example, one day might cover Vitamin A, another day might cover Selenium, etc, and it will cover the RDA, the tolerable upper limit, some highlights from research, what it does, etc). I think that would be a fun course, and I will be able to price it very reasonably and use the content to create new e-Books or print books as well.
Okay, time to read for awhile and then do this business presentation and move onto the rest of my action list. Have a blessed day! It is beautiful blue, sunny skies here, just over freezing with plenty of snow on the ground. I had someone share with me that the expected low tomorrow is going to be 20 below, so I'll enjoy this day while I can!
Yesterday, the one task that I missed was walking the dogs. Will make that a higher priority today.
In His peace,
Jeremy Likness
