Quick post today.
What did I do today? Managed to reach 280 Hindu squats, 28 Hindu push-ups, but my bridge hold fell short. We'll pick it up tomorrow. I'm noticing still some tenderness on my right shoulder, so I'll be putting together a routine for myself to stretch/warm the joint/etc.
I finished the Dime-a-Day courses and launched it, then released another feature that I hadn't written about before - a Natural Physiques Toolbar. This makes it very easy to jump to sections of the site - in fact, I should probably use it as a model for the navigation I have now!
Tomorrow will be a fun day. I start the day talking to my mentor, Mike Litman. I have some calls to make and some writing to do, then it's going to be off to Rapid City. There is a big rodeo this weekend. We're going to head down because we always have a blast. Saturday night, we'll do some church activities and spend the night there, then attend our church on Sunday and relax.
I'm over halfway to my goal of 500 Hindu squats, 50 Hindu push-ups, and a 3 minute bridge hold. I decided after today that I was depending on my arms too much for the bridge, so I'm going to start using the arms crossed over chest. I might have to cut off a lot of time but I feel this is best to build on my neck strength. The only thing missing from my routine is more thorough stretching.
Nutrition today was solid. For breakfast, I had an orange and a grapefruit. I exercised, then enjoyed a Beverly Mass Maker shake (two scoops) followed by some coffee. Lunch was buffalo barbeque in a lentil stew. After my daughter and I walked home from where she is being tutored (a nice walk that is uphill 100% of the way) we both "splurged" with some cereal (she had Uncle Sam's flax while I had Gorilla Crunch - an organic variety on corn cereal) with soy milk.
Dinner was a half pita with hummus and a nice large spinach salad with crushed nuts, onions, a bit of cheese and a dressing that I made from Balsamic vinagraitte (sp?) and our healthy fat product.
Now it's time to sleeeeeep. No school for Alyssa tomorrow, so we plan on having some fun reading, playing chess, and soaking in the hot tub.
Blessed be,
Jeremy Likness
