It's Time for this Boy to Take a Break!

Whew!

It has been a busy week.

I've been staying up way too late (and no, not working, either, I head downstairs and watch a DVD - never was much of a TV person, but I like movies). I get up early because my daughter and wife are up at 6:30 and I like to spend that time with them.

Today, I realized I am sore all over from my combat conditioning workout, so I decided not to push it and only did 100 Hindu squats and my joint mobility (jangle) routine ... then spent a long time in the hot tub.

I love it when I go outside early in the morning and take the time to shovel snow and sprinkle salt ... and then the temperature jumps to the mid 40s and melts it all anyway! Oh well, I'm thankful for the exercise.

So what have I been doing today? The final editing of my newsletter! This is a BIG issue - lots of awesome articles, so I'm very excited to send it out, one of my favorite so far. I just wrapped it up and queued the announcement, so it will be ready by tomorrow on the release date.

I'm also working on delivering a promise I made late 2004 - to take the first year of issues and bring them together in a free PDF for my newsletter subscribers. I'm working on that so it has a nice, professional appearance and is not overly cluttered with links and graphics and what not ... once that's done, I'll have it available for people to download and share.

I continue to receive very positive feedback about the projects I am working on. It is interesting because while I have more people talk about how my Lose Fat, Not Faith 5-CD Set really impacted their lives, I continue to make far more sales with my Lose Fat, Not Faith e-Book - a survey I ran indicated that more people DO enjoy e-Books than I would have thought, because I always hear the feedback for people who want to see it in print. Looks like the talent for the voice over on the CD remodeling project was hired and will be performing that segment over the next few days, so I am hoping next week to have the remastered set available.

My presentation on autoresponders went well last night - the team was very receptive. I look forward to helping others grow their business and reach more people.

After staring at this computer screen for hours writing and editing, it's definitely time for a break. My daughter comes home at 3:30 and then we have a pot luck at the local freemason lodge this evening at 6:30 - we have been designated to "bring the green salad."

I might listen to a personal development CD or read a book - or maybe just relax and listen to the silence hear in the hills (save for the sound of the wind through the Ponderosa pines). I had two new experiences today - one was to hear ice cracking after salting the sidewalks, that was pretty cool, and the other was watching icicles melt from the edge of the roof over the gazebo that covers our hot tub. What a beautiful day today.

Speaking of personal development, there were obviously a few people listening to my Mike Mahler interview this past Monday, because he mentioned one of the most influential books he read was "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill. I happen to have that available for free as an e-Book for anyone interested - I mentioned my site, JeremyLikness.com, and how you can click on the "Spread and Serve" jar to read some very influential books and listen to some great audios at no cost — within hours I had people coming on board to take advantage of it. That is awesome because I know at least three people who were sitting on the fence wondering, "What do I do with my life?" who read some of the books there and suddenly changed their entire outlook and became responsible for their own future. It's hard for me to decide which one I enjoy the most - Think and Grow Rich, for learning how to live in abundance (rich doesn't always mean money), Mach II with your Hair on Fire to realize what is possible for ANYONE if they have faith and believe, Spritiual Marketing by my coaching client and marketing mentor Joe Vitale that really focuses on how we don't have to MAKE things happen in life, when in fact we can improve who we are - strive for excellence and greatness - and attrack success into our lives without chasing it ... or the classic, The Greatest Networker in the World, which describes the lifestyle I only dreamed of when I joined my network marketing company back in November of 2003 and now thoroughly enjoy (no, I don't have the riches and vast estates that the main character in the book has, but I do enjoy the time freedom, making my own choices and the blessed time with my family that I had to give up when I was working into the corporate world).

So, time to wind down and relax ... going to be a beautiful day and a wonderful evening.

I begin each day with this prayer that I am happy to share with you ...

"In the hours of the day, Lord God, be Thou my guide. Direct my every thought, my every action, my every word, that they may better glorify Three through Thy Son, Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. In the name of Jesus I pray ... amen."

Yes, blessed be,

Jeremy Likness
