And then there was snow ...

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

After several days of the temperature rising to 60 degrees, then falling abruptly to snow through the evening, then rising again to thaw and melt, our city had turned into a large swamp. Then, one day, the temperature dropped ... and stayed that way. It went as low as 12 degrees and we were dumped on with well over a foot of snow. Go figure! We were amazed coming home from a dinner to see cars sliding sideways on the road, then to wake up the next day with the ground completely covered.

Of course, these are the hills ... the weather can be silly like that.

I may just carve out some time to hit the slopes tomorrow ... a perfect end to the ski season before jetting over to sunny L.A.

Not much to report ... been very busy. Decided that I really don't like the low carb plan at all (yes, there is a reason I coach lifestyle and not dieting). Now that I'm back to more natural plan (granola, fruit, etc are back on the menu) I'm not losing as quickly but enjoying life more. I guess if I were still competing or as fascinated by ultra low body fat as many people seem to be, then I would stick with it ... but I'm just not so excited. I'd rather get there doing what I enjoy and feel healthier with - going low carb and getting irritable is definitely not for me.

Having said that, I am LOVING the new training. I had done bodyweight exercises for quite some time, so moving back to heavy lifting is refreshing. Of course, my arms were toast today when I had to go out and shovel the snow.

Okay, well, I have quite a bit to do before I head out of town in a few days, so I wanted to be faithful to my diary and post a bit. I just had a phenomenal interview with Jon Benson, author of Fit Over 40 and am now on the Mastermind call with some other entrepreneurs around the country ... so I'll sign off now.

Blessed be,

Jeremy Likness
