LA, here we come!
This morning, I woke and realized my heart was pounding. I am very excited about this trip! I will be connecting with other entrepreneurs that I haven't seen in months, and who shared a powerful experience in our first Breakthroughs to Success workshop so many months ago ... Doreen had a similar experience, but with a different group of people, so we'll all get to finally meet each other. There will be great speakers at the event, I'll get to visit with my team member Ed Orlowski and Doreen and I will have some time tonight to relax. We booked a nice hotel and decided to just kick back today, as the seminar officially kicks off tomorrow.
I peeped in my daughter's bedroom when I headed downstairs, and she was up looking at the huge icicles outside of our window. We've been dumped on with over a foot of snow. If I didn't have so much to do before flying out, I would have hit the slopes yesterday, but it didn't work out. I told her I was going to the hot tub, and her eyes lit up and she exclaimed, "Me too!" So we started off in the hot tub ... always fun to be in the 104 degree water when it is 20 degrees outside! After that, I helped my wife finalize packing and we sat down to a delicious breakfast - buffalo sausage, free range eggs, whole wheat toast and all-natural peanut butter.
The dogs were a little rowdy when we were loading them to take them to board them. My wife suddenly had several listings and offers come up, so she was going to drop the dogs off and then meet one of her clients. The dogs, of course, misbehaved, getting snow all over and one jumped into the backseat, and when we shouted for him to get out, got nervous and let loose. So, we were cleaning up a bit and then she was off on her way.
She just did the paperwork for a deal and is on her way back. We will drive into Rapid City to visit with my grandparents and leave our truck there ... we jokingly refer to it as "extended airport parking." For as long as I can remember, since I was a little child, my grandfather has been happy to drive family to and from the airport. Hmmm, I wonder if Grandma baked any cookies?
I packed my laptop with my "Secrests of the Millionaire Mindset" to read on the plane. I also loaded it with DVDs about the paraben-free skin care line that I have (if you are interested, just contact me and I'll be happy to send one out to you) as well as one about the business opportunity. I also loaded it with our newspapers, so that I can share them with people in the airports and on the plane as we fly out. I'm always excited to share the information and find those who will benefit from the products and/or business opportunity.
We had a great team call last night - I had a team member call in from Australia, one from Canada, and others from around the U.S. We are excited as this is an important week for our mentor, and are helping him out. Everyone is fired up. I created a little friendly competition and I believe the rewards were well-received ... so we'll see what kind of action and activity will take place as the result of that.
My contact is off in the mail to the company that is considering the 5-CD set for distribution over a television network. They have the final product and reviewing that, so I'm excited to see what transpires. I also began the process to take my Lose Fat, Not Faith e-Book set to print, and am receiving quotes and considering the logistics.
I have taken on a few new coaching clients and am excited to see what change we can inspire in their lives. One is already fairly lean and wants to trim off that last bit of fat, so we created a 4 week program to get him there. The others are in various states of fitness and looking to take things to the next level.
I began my affiliate outsourcing this month and am very happy with the results so far. They send me weekly reports and I know exactly who was approached, who considered joining, who joined, who is active, etc. I'm not sure how well-received the contest was, but we'll know the first week of April when we "draw" the affiliate sites. I also spend some time late the other night writing the code to make it very easy to syndicate article content. I have been inundated with requests to republish content, so I made it easy to click on a link and then cut & paste some code to have any article syndicated. I hope others find it a useful and valuable tool.
Now, my focus will be shifting towards ... NOTHING! It is time to relax for a day, and then jump into the Breakthroughs seminar. This is a VERY powerful process and whenever I attend an event hosted by Jeffrey Combs, I come back transformed. Because I am ready to take my network marketing business to the next level, I will be hiring Jeff for a few sessions, then decide if I want to continue with him or go into John DiLemme's extensive program. John's program I know gets results, and it a long program (many months) - the investment may seem high to some, but I know it's just that: an investment, and I would see many returns on it. So perhaps my coaching with Jeffrey will build extra income to invest in John's program and the two will synergize what I accomplish in 2005! We'll see.
That's it for now .. time for some more coffee, to load up the bags, and head out to LA.
I'll keep you posted when I can.
Blessed be,
Jeremy Likness
