Childhood obesity has tripled since 1980. Hopefully, they will attend one of these school programs that promote fitness for life. Of course, there are always the naysayers who ask, Are we really getting overweight? They must not visit the same public places that I do, or they'd say it's fairly obvious that overweight is an issue. However, is being overweight really a health issue? I believe so, but others aren't quite so certain. Being obese may interfere with the effectiveness of injected medicines, especially for women.
They told you, "The scale lies." But can getting on it help you lose weight? I find it to be a powerful and successful tool with my clients, but Renee says it lies.

Despite recent studies that indicate the Mediterranean Diet doesn't necessarily make a major impact on girth, some people still say it is the way to go. While it may not help shed pounds, it's apparently good for the heart.
