Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! Happy holidays if you celebrate this season differently.

This will be my last post for a few days as we enjoy the holiday weekend.

I was excited to see that mainstream media can finally get past BMI and talk about measuring body fat. Tom Venuto has a great book on how to measure your body fat that is free with a purchase of Lose Fat, Not Faith.

People who enjoy hiking and feel fat can now go fatpacking.

It won't be long before trans fats appear on nutrition labels. In the meantime, you can brush up on your nutrition facts skills by reading Food Labels 101.

Weight-loss surgery gets political: one lawmaker urges investigation into obesity surgery to better understand the risks. This surgery has a very high mortality rate, and many people find they can shed the pounds through lifestyle changes instead of being sliced open.

What do marijuana and weight loss have in common? According to some, marijuana "munchies" hold weight-loss clues.

That's it for me. Have a wonderful Christmas Eve and a blessed Christmas day. I wish you continued health, abundance, and happiness in the coming days and New Year.

Warmly,

Jeremy Liknses
