So, what's this news?
We finally have put together the technology that I believe will have a major impact on who sticks with their New Years resolutions, and who gives up after the second month.
It's called a workout buddy.
Now, I've seen other sites with this concept, but I think we've got a very powerful interface for this.
First, signing up is 100% free — the wizard is right here and if you don't choose the gold or platinum memberships, absolutely no billing information is required.
By setting up a profile, you can track vitals (yes, even graph your weight progress, etc), track your heart rate, calories burned, cardio workouts, weight training, etc. You also get access to our forums and our 3D animated exercise illustrations.
But, most importantly, you can start to connect with workout buddies!
You enter a profile that includes your goals, activities, where you exercise, how, etc. You can upload a picture.
Then, you can search for workout buddies — based on their age, goals, etc. Once you invite someone, if they accept, your profiles will be linked. You can send private messages back and forth and share data such as your vitals, workouts, etc, and encourage each other to stay fit in 2006.
How's that for a fun way to stay accountable and linked to people across the world who are pursuing fitness?

The only way you pay on our system is if you want access to our patented online nutrition coach or the workout generator (you can track workouts 100% free, it's only if you want our software or personal trainers to build a program that you would consider a Gold or Platinum package).
