Where do I begin?
One of my weakest areas recently has been keeping a consistent diary. Ironic, because success is truly about consistency. It is about being persistent with those small habits that, when combined, create the larger habit not of creating or chasing success, but rather attracting success by who we become. The original title for my e-Book was Become the Journey, and that's what this is - the journey. And I am going to share it consistently here.
So what does 2005 have in store?
2004 was an incredible year. I will be going over the highlights and celebrating with my wife. We will write our new goals for the new year, the new quarter, the new month, the new week, even the new days. I will highlight a few here ...
1. I made the decision to leave the corporate world and become responsible for my own vacation time, my own raises, my own fate - I entered the world the free enterprise
2. I joined and successfully built a substantial network marketing organization, that continues to be a steady stream of residual income for me (and that I continue to grow - looking to earn some part-time income yourself? *wink*)
3. My wife and I launched our own corporation, Golden Summit, Inc, of which my health and wellness division, Natural Physiques, is a large part of
4. We moved our family 1500 miles to the beautiful mountains of South Dakota, where we can enjoy being outdoors, skiing, hiking, and live in a slower, more relaxed environment and take the time to enjoy every day and every moment as it should be
5. I wrote and launched my e-Book, Lose Fat Not Faith (Become the Journey) and sold hundreds of copies in over a dozen countries - goal is 10,000 by the end of 2005
6. I started my teleseminar series
7. I released several CDs, including the free CD offer
8. My wife obtained her real estate license to start her own entrepeneurial career (in addition to her position as CFO of Golden Summit)
9. We made the decision to home school our daughter
10. Our son played football and basketball and is doing fantastic with both
So what are my goals for 2005?
On a personal level, I received my copy of a book called Combat Conditioning from Matt Furey and am excited to start with this program. I will diarize my success - I've been searching for a good calisthenic style program to work on for awhile, I already did a cycle of military-style Crazy 16s, so this will be an exciting new chapter.
I will release a few print books in the coming year, focused on illustrating stretching, exercises, etc. I will release some more CDs or have the existing mastered and reworked by a studio to have some fades, music, intros, etc.
I will continue to have guests on our teleseminar series, and will take my own seminars to the road and host some in major cities in the U.S.
I will take my family to another country in 2005. Not sure where or when, we might figure that out tonight.
I really don't want much in the way of material wealth. My desire is to grow my business to reach more people, and to travel - again, to reach more people. I want to continue to enjoy the precious time I have created to be with my family, and keep health and family, not business, at the top of my priorities. I want to change lives. I will continue to do so.
Okay, so that is a brief post for now, but I am committed to posting to this journal in 2005. It will be another amazing year.
Thanks for your time - I appreciate you!
