I just can't eat vegetables — it's impossible — so what else can I do to live healthy?

I've had quite a few clients tell me they can't eat vegetables. I can relate, because I hated vegetables myself ... they made me sick. Of course, a lot of things come down to perception. It's funny ... the same people who hate vegetables, like beer or coffee. They didn't like beer the first time they tried it, but in a bid to be socially acceptable and because it was "cool" they managed to "acquire a taste" for it.

Realizing this, instead of trying to jump into vegetables, why not ease into them? My concept of vegetables was canned veggies slathered in butter. So at first, I'd steam them for a long time and load them with spices. Over time, I spiced them less and steamed them for less time. I always consistently reminded myself of how my fat loss and physique transformation was related to the healthy foods I was eating. This helped me develop a taste for them and eventually I grew to love them - now I even enjoy raw veggies, large salads, you name it! It was just being open to accepting the possibility of liking them and then trying it.

It doesn't work for everything, of course. I still hate brussells sprouts.
