Aren't granola bars bad because they are loaded with sugar?

Not the popular answer, but I think they're awesome. A little bit of sugar, but no biggie, and for a snack on the run ... fine in my book (Although you'll have to decide based on my results whether or not I was "successful" despite having these.) In my opinion, it is more important to concern yourself with total protein throughout the day rather than at every meal. In other words, if you have a few meals lower in protein, higher in carbs, fine. Have some others higher in protein.

This won't work if you are looking to get down to bodybuilding/stage body fat but for general fat loss or at least until you only have about 6% more body fat to lose before being shredded, it's fine. I got down to 7% eating these ... they were like a dessert to me during that phase.
