Does toasting bread destroy the fiber?

Burning food is never good, so I would lightly toast it instead of darkly toasting it.

I have never heard that toasting destroys fiber, which doesn't mean it isn't true, but if anything, I have heard that lightly toasting bread will destroy some of the glutens which are major allergens for many people anyway, so it should actually be beneficial (unless you are using a non-gluten bread or a sprouted grain bread).
