Tips » Weight Training
I really want to focus on losing fat, so I'm going to stop weight training and do more cardio — will this get me to my goals more quickly?
You are contradicting yourself. You said you want to remove the fat. Are you buying into the myth that cardio burns more fat? It doesn't. This has been well researched. If your goal is to lose fat, then you should do both cardio and weight training. This combination burns far more fat than cardio alone.
Take a look at this:

As you can clearly see, even when exercising the same amount of time, the group that did a split of cardio and weight training lost three times as much fat than the group that spent that entire time only doing cardio.
